According to official specifications, the Scorpio Spear is a Balance-type Beyblade designed to blend stability and offensive power. It features six blades—three on the top and three on the bottom—optimizing balance and delivering impactful attacks. The unique highlight of this Beyblade is its ability to switch modes mid-battle, reducing from six blades to just three to increase attack power, a concept reminiscent of the old Trans Point system.

Other components include the 0-70 Ratchet, which has a reduced height of 7 mm compared to the previous 0-80 model. While it sacrifices some spin momentum, it enhances overall rotational stability. The Zap (Z) Bit, also Balance-type, combines traits of the Point (P) and Accel (A) Bits. It features a central bump that stabilizes the spin and a wider, flatter base that boosts speed and performance along the Xtreme Line.

The Scorpio Spear resembles the shape of Hells Hammer, with a gimmick that allows it to switch modes. It starts in a 6-blade configuration for balance, then transitions to a 3-blade mode mid-spin to enhance attack power. This mode switch only occurs after launch.

This combo hits hard with maximum destructive force, but it comes at the cost of short spin time and often gives up a point to Stamina types. It’s best used as your opening shot.
